I bought this disc back in '85 on the strength of the cool cover photo and familiarity with most of the tracks, which are largely covers. Still don'thave much info about the band other than what is on the back cover: Randy Dash-vocals, Jimmy Rip-guitars, Busta Jones-bass, Jay Dee Daugherty-drums. Pretty much their only claim to fame is that Joey Ramone supplied backing vocals on "Nothing Can Change The Shape of Things to Come" ( released as a single in 1983). This is highly derivative garage rock revival with only a few high/memorable points, but what the hell it helped to keep some of those old classic tracks alive during the mid-eighties. It's by no means essential but interesting nonetheless.

No online reviews to be found. While searching though, I discovered that the LP was posted at
PowerPopLovers in January, Oh well, them's the breaks. Since I had already ripped my vinyl here it is anyway. I've got to do more post-checking next time, at least I got to discover a new blog.

Hello My Name is Kennie Poole (The CaveMan) I had the pleasure of playing drums in a band with Lord Rany Dash in NYNY in 1994 called Fresh fruit from New York, The seclusions were all heavy hitters from patti Smith to Blondi to Mic Jagger. To Bad the album never took off it had all the makings of time lasting music. Hit me up at myspace.com/kenniepoole and Ill answer as many Q's as I can.
Randy not Rany sorry for the wrong spelling, Im a drummer LOL!
